This very pretty hose winder is just perfect for the discriminating gardner. It functions flawlessly. The swivel feature allows one to re-wind the hose laid out in any one of the 180 degree directions. I could not be happier with this purchase. Yes, it cost more than some others, but well worth the price.

Just received. Reel looks good and is sturdy. Yet to put to use, because THE BOX DID NOT CONTAIN THE LEADER HOSE! I will contact the manufacturer - but warn others to be sure to check for all parts. Evidently Ames is not too diligent about such.

I bought this in May 2010 and it is beautiful, lightweight and functional. I have had no issues with this hose reel and it is well worth the purchase price.
