I bought this unit to cut several pieces of 1/8" thickness what we use to cut with Oxi acetylene,but this little machine out performs in speed and finish .
At first,must to get the correct distance from the sheet metal, but when figured it out the cut was clean and fast.I tried others thickness 1/2" so far and the trick is combine the speed ,amperage and air pressure.
Also nice feature the device works on 110 volts mains,whats allows me to work at home.
I'm very pleased with this purchase overall.

This is the first plasma cutter that i owned. I was looking for something to use as a hobby and to assist with my car work. This little unit seems to work very well. To be honest i wasn't expecting a whole lot for this cheap, however i was pleasantly surprised. I got it hooked up and tried it out cutting some mild steal on its lowest setting, and it cut through it like butter. I can't really speak for the longevity of the unit(as i haven't had it long), but i'm fairly impressed. It cuts, quickly and well.

In short, if you want to get a plasma cutter without breaking the bank this is absolutely perfect. But keep in mind you get what you pay for. Though i think this one is worth the risk but i don't have the experience of using a "nice" plasma cutter.

Easy to set up and get cutting. Found I had to convert to 240volt 20a circuit to cut 1/4" tube stock. After that it cut great!
