This humidifier works quite well. Of course you've read the info and know that you may experience white dust if your water is high in minerals. This means that it could clog up your furnace filters so watch for that. I use mine with RO water. One problem I have is that the tank is not flat on the top hence it does not sit well in the sink thus making the refilling of the tank very awkward as it wobbles around. I fail to see why they can't make these things with a top fill. The other problem which matters to me, is that it is not silent in operation like the 7135 model. Perhaps I have a defective one...I'll have to email the company to find out.

But it does do a good job.

I purchased this upscaled item after having problems with my previous Air O Swiss of an earlier model and was very pleasantly surprised to have it fully functional and it is really easy to operate. To maintain premium condition of the device, cleaning is necessary and base must be filled with water before placing the tank(with fresh clean water) on top in order for it to operate after cleaning the filter and the base itself. I was absolutely amazed at the efficiency of the device in humidifying the room to make it easier for me to breathe. You can control the device output, the temperature of the vapor as it is released into the room from the spout, and you can time it and there is an auto shut off so you can save water which makes it less likely for you to keep on refilling the tank. I am going to have to recommend this because to me, it is top of the line humidifier which is at the very best price offered!

It worked well for 2 days. On the 3rd day it kept telling me I needed to add water, but the machine was full. Since it thought the reservoir was empty it would not work. I sent it back to Amazon and I hope to get a full refund. I am waiting to see if I get a full refund before I think about purchasing another machine. I think I just got a lemon. Next time I will order a different model. I have purchased a BionAire cool mist that was cheap and am using it in the interim.
