This replaced an older unit that finally failed and it has been great. Easy setup for both outdoor sensor and the atomic clock. It really has been set it and forget it. Accurate both indoor and out. Had it for about 7 weeks and love it. No problems.

The temperature and humidity portion of this unit works very, both the indoor and outdoor. The real problem is in the barometric pressure readings. I have had two of these units and both failed in the same manner. They work well for about five days the start displaying erratic pressure readings then displays only dashes for the pressure. I have contacted LaCrosse service and they gave me a list of things to check, which I did. Nothing helped. They then suggested that I return the unit to them at my expense and they would try to find the problem, no guarantees. I did not feel that I should send a new defective unit to LaCrosse service at my expense, so I have returned it to Amazon for a refund. Be aware of this unit.

Won't transmit to base using energizer lithium batteries, guessing the extra power alters the transmitters signal out of range. Works fine with regular batteries though. Pressure constantly reads 40.0 or above... Got this as a Christmas present for my dad, gave it 3 stars because it's easy to read and the other functions work and that's the stuff that was important to him. As far as amazon goes, they shipped it quickly and the transaction was smooth as usual.
